We have the most experience in WordPress. Almost a combined 30 years experience in the most popular platform in the world. However, we have experience in Shopify and Squarespace if you need it. It’s all code in the end. Just different limitations.
2. Why us?
Why are we different? We know you’ve most likely had problems working with an outsourced developer. Whether they didn’t understand the design nuances, or they couldn’t deliver on time, or they just were not on the same wavelength as you.
You’ve probably also tried doing it yourself. That’s too much expertise to catch up to. You’re a designer, not a developer. Different skillsets, different experience.
OR you might be able to hire someone to sit next to you and maybe develop some websites, but you most likely won’t be able to find someone nearby who can do everything we do, at the level that we do it.
We’ve been in the industry long enough to know all your troubles and expectations. That’s how we’re different. You can hire us, and for all intents and purposes, we can function like an in-house developer. You'll enjoy it.
3. How “in-house?”
Do you have an initial Zoom meeting with a client discussing the scope of the website? We can be there!
We can be briefed by you so we say the right things.
We can introduce ourselves as your staff members.
We can ask important development questions.
We can help you with quoting.
We can help you with gauging scope.
We can help you with UI/UX design (if needed).
We can finish development on schedule.
We can set up emails for your clients.
We can provide hosting.
We can make sure everything is done in best practice.
We can even use your domain’s email (make us an account!) to talk to clients and cc you in.
For all intents and purposes, your client will feel like they are dealing with your staff member.
4. How much?
We have a set rate for most jobs. (Some jobs might be quoted based on project.)
90 USD/h (120AUD)
It’s up to you to charge the client whatever you want. You can add your own management time, you can make your own fixed rate, you can charge double. WE DON’T CARE. That’s between you and your client. Just pay our invoice, and we’re good.
5. Where are you?
Technically, we live near Melbourne and Brisbane. However, we’ve split our “on-call” times so we are available during the daytime in as many regions as possible, including Oceania, Asia, Africa, Europe, and even mornings and evenings in most of North America.
That’s because one of us is working in the daytime here in Australia, and one of us works through the night.
If you couldn’t tell by now, we both speak fluent English. (Most of the time.) Funny thing is, we are both from North America (Canada and the US).
So while we are both well educated in Aussie English, we both speak in a North American accent.
We’ve been around the block. We are comfortable using Asana, Slack, Basecamp, Trello, Monday, ClickUp, or whatever type of workflow your business has established.
However, we have our own CLIENT PORTAL made just for our projects so we can discuss, track progress, share files, make reports, and even invoice.
We’ll invite you there, it’s pretty cool.
